For the Tronc module, variable tips cannot be used as it is standardised for best practice. For this situation, I would recommend using Tronc2 as this is more flexible to individual specifications. In regards to delay in closing rotas, the rota would need to be closed first, to populate ‘hours worked’ into the Tronc/Tronc2 module. I hope this helps? Let me know if there is anything else I can help with!

Thank you for your reply. We are using Tronc2 module and I was advised it would work if we have two separate Tronc Funds, one for the ‘Fixed Tips’ (NIable) and one for the ‘Variable Tips’ (non-NIable). However I cannot find where to link the payment type of non-Niable tips in creating fund screen so I do not understand the advice to have two tronc funds here. Would you be able to assist more, please?
