What drives the order of the names on the Rota

I pull a Hours worked v rota v actual and sort per department to audit the times employees worked and print for our hotels ...   Aware its a strange question however what drives the order of the staff as they are shown on the rota as I am trying to mirror the layout that we see on the screen ?

Hi @Sharon Harkins​ Great Question!

This is driven by a global setting in the Rota Module.

Rota > Administration > Global settings

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see Rota Sort order.

The Priority is set against the Job title in HR > Company Admin > Job titles

@Debbie Thomas​  Thanks Debbie ... that worked so the people are now showing alphabetically but now can you advise how the Rota Job Titles are ordered ???

These are ordered by the priority number entered in the job title.

If all Job titles have a priority of 1 they will be alphabetical.

Hi @Debbie Thomas​  is there a report to pull the job priority , so I can do a vlookup to the Forcastvactual report ?

I don't believe there is a specific report, but you can highlight the job titles and priority from the Job title page and copy and paste into excel.
