HR: Do my employees get notified when I update their holiday status?

Hi there, thank you for the question! When the employee's holiday is authorized or declined, the employee will be able to see this by logging into the people system and going into their self administration and holiday requests to view the status of the holiday request. They're also able to see what holiday they have taken already, and what they have remaining to take on this page too.

No, employees do not receive a notification (email) when a Manager authorises or declines their holiday.

hi it was my understanding that with ESS staff could request their holidays this way.
