payroll module / reports / export / Payroll Deduction by Pay Basis report is really good as a snap shot for each payroll week / month however she is looking for a more detailed report that can be run over specific time periods for all locations in our company if possible. Saskia did talk me through custom reports however we did not get to a good output their either ... any suggestions ?
Our management accountant is looking for a report to show employee loans / advances made / outstanding balances ...

Payroll reports are always based on pay runs and not specific time periods.
Unfortunately the only options I am aware are the ones that have been suggested. I am not aware of any other reports that would give you this information.
