Receiving Verify and Multiple Receiving

We are trying to send a notice to our Vendor using the Receiving Verify report to let them know that we received more items than we ordered on their second shipment. On the report, it shows that we are short the same items we already received from their first shipment. We already got the lighters, but it shows that we are short 6. Is this an issue or are we missing a setting to cause this to happen? Shouldn't they be cumulative like it is in the receiving screen?   Thanks,

Thank you for your query.

 

The Receiving Verify Report displays each instance of Receiving separately, not cumulatively, so you can flag the 'Exclude Products where Received Units = 0' box as outlined here & the report will then "not show products with zero quantity received" (for that specific receiving instance):
