Rota Settings

There is a global setting in Rotas to display Budget information.

Rota > Administration > Global Settings > Edit > Hide Budget data from Rota, Analysis and Edit Revenue pages

This needs to be unticked.

The rota wage cost is driven by the Wage function setting (WFS).

Pensions should be entered as Factor x in configure location and the relevant boxes in the WFS ticked to include this in the Rota Wage Cost.

ERNI should also be ticked in the wage function setting to include in The Rota Wage Cost.

It is not possible to have these on the front screen. Only the analysis page.

With regards to the Analysis report, when I run this report under department manager's login, I could see other divisions and employees on the report, therefore I had to remove this report from their access. Can this be amended so that managers could only see their division and employees? I have the following system settings:

Rotas > Users > Templates > Department manager > Assign Permissions.

View All Employees on Analysis - unticked.

View All Employees on Rota - ticked.

The analysis page is not restricted to division, however if the issue is regarding seeing costs, there is a permission to view the analysis page with Sub-Ordinates currency.

This will mean that they will see the other divisions but only employees lower in the hierarchy than themselves. Would this help?

We can set up a calculated metric with a fixed percentage against salary and hourly cost for NI and Pension if you do need this on the front screen.

Hi Debbie,

Unfortunately not, as managers should view their employees only and not anyone else.

Calculated metrix on the front screen would help as the Wage budget is worked out taking into consideration Pension and ER NI, so managers need to consider that when forecasting. Would it also show Wage cost total including Pension and NI?
