    To help with your first question, we have a release note for functionality that will help you capture furloughed employees: https://fc.force.com/customer/s/article/WFM-Release-Note-Furloughed-Status-for-Employees?. This is set for release on Monday night and is the first piece of functionality being released around this.

     

    In regards to creating a payment type- you can do this if it helps to separate the payments, this is also what the employees will see on their payslip.

     

    In regards the average weekly earnings, you can use the customized reporting in the payroll module at the moment, and we are working on a report to include this information.

     

    In regards to the payment, at the moment you will need to make the manual payment yourself in payroll, you can upload a value into the new payment type you created. There is an article in the area referenced above on the process to do this for salaried employees, where you can create a calculated payment type to reduce the salary down; for hourly paid employees you'll need to load a value in to the payment type.
