WFM Release Note - Furloughed Status for Employees

A link to this release note has also been added to our main Fourth Products and Covid-19 page.

 

What’s Changing?

A new link in the Employee Summary page which allows employees to be set with a status of ‘Furloughed’.

 

Proposed Release Date: 30th March 2020

 

Reason for Change

Following the recent announcements relating to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, it has been necessary to add additional fields to employee records to record their status as ‘Furloughed’.

 

Once official guidance has been published by HMRC, this release note will be updated if required.

    Hi There,

     

    The government will work with employers over the coming months to set up the repayment mechanism for employers as soon as possible. Existing systems are not currently designed to facilitate employer refunds for SSP.

    Thanks Zaina. When will this be release be completed?

     

    I was able to view Furlough effective dates on the employee history report and export. Can I keep using this report until the release is done?

    Hi @Silvio Pelizza​ 

     

    Great question - In the batch update function you will be able to do this by location and use the same date to furlough all employees at the same location. The export will also be available within the batch update function release.
