Starchef - order codes against alternate ingredients

When we search for order codes against an ingredient, set up as an alternate to another, no search results return.   Is this a bug or a feature?

Thank you for raising this question to the Community!!

 

It is a feature of the main search box field to only return results of 'parent' ingredients. However if you have a code relating to an alternate ingredient, this can be entered in the 'advanced search' functionality and this will return the 'parent' ingredient as a result which then the alternate can be found within.
