    Hi Orla,

The furlough flag and associated functionality was developed outside of our core system code, so does not impact holidays. Therefore holidays can be booked, authorised and paid as usual even though an employee is furloughed and receiving a furlough payment.

    Many thanks,

    Sophie.

    Hi Sophie,

That's what I was expecting but none of our furloughed employees can have new holiday requests put through for them. I have raised a case with Support in case this is just an issue on the portal we're using.

    Thanks,

    Orla

    Hi Sophie,

If an employee is on furlough but takes a holiday day that is paid at 1005 of the usual day rate, is this reflected in the numbers that pull through in the Furlough reclaim esport?

    Many thanks

    Hi Diane,

Many thanks for your question. The furlough functionality in the system was designed outside of core system functionality so the export was not built to include holiday. Any holidays that are booked and authorised in the system should go through to payroll as usual. I'm not sure I understand the '1005 of the usual day rate' piece you mentioned, this might be a typo on %? If you are paying 100% of holidays for a flexible employee, then the day rate should feed through to payroll for the authorised holiday.

    Many thanks,

    Sophie.
