I will be unable to close the payroll for fortnightly probably not until Tuesday due to all the calculations I am having to do for them. As we don’t send the bacs via Fourth this shouldn’t be a problem, just wanted to know if this will be a problem with the pay cycle if I close it late, I day before its due to credit. I will be doing a faster payment on the 15/4 so they get paid on the actual pay date

  Hi @Kate Castellani​ ,

   

  It is fine to close your payroll the day before your pay date if you are paying by faster payments. If you are set up to send email payslips, you must close the payroll the day before the pay date at the latest. If you close the payroll on the pay date then the email payslips will not be sent.

   

  Also keep an eye on any future rotas being submitted to your payroll.
