We would like to start putting FT salaried employees on furlough status. We thought it would be a good starting point due to the fact that the calculation won’t change for these employees. Plus the new script on 52 week holiday calculation won’t apply to them. Is that right? Is there any risk on putting FT salaried employees on furlough?

You are correct - there is no risk when putting a full-time, salaried employee on Furlough, as this is best practice as suggested by the Government. The 52 week holiday calculation is applicable for flexible employee's only and would not affect salaried employees.
