Really sorry HS, but it's me again. Thought that perhaps today would be different, but it's not. It is unbelievable that Scheduling got upgraded to what it is and is acceptable by your programmers. It is a good 2 seconds from when I scroll up or down before the screen reacts. Navigating from one section to another is SO painstakingly slow. There's a button for daily notes, but not for a daily roster preview? Is there a plan in the works to fix the lag time? Do y'all recognize that this problem exists? I'm sorry to nag, but the thought of having to use this system week after week is depressing. PLEASE do something!!

    Good morning Joel,

Thank you for contacting HotSchedules Customer Care. I apologize about having lag issues with the scheduler.

I logged in as you and navigated over to your scheduler tab and tried navigating around to see if I could cause a significant lag, but I was unable to. I tried adding a couple shifts by double clicking on a cell and was quickly prompted with the window to enter the new shifts information.

I wanted to try and see if clearing out your cache and cookies will improve the lag issue. Below is a link that will walk you through that process.

HS - Clearing Cookies and Cache

If after having done this you are still experiencing lag, I would suggest trying out a new browser and see if you still experience the issue there. If after having tried this you are still having a lag issue, please let us know.

I apologize for any kind of inconvenience this might have caused. If you are still experiencing significant latency on the scheduler after the troubleshooting methods above, I would be glad to submit enhancement/modification request for our Product Team in your behalf for the latency you are experiencing on the scheduler. These requests are reviewed and prioritized quarterly.

We always welcome your suggestions to improve our services.

    Thank you for your time,

Thank you for getting back to me. Hotschedules works seamlessly when using the Microsoft Edge web browser. I have long thought that Chrome is best for everything, but the difference between the 2 is drastic when doing schedules.

    Thanks again!!

I never had and never would've, but I was desperate to find something that would help move things along. Do you find that scrolling through employees while scheduling is frustrating? The names stay blurry just long enough to drive me insane when I use Chrome.

I typically use Opera, but I have tried Chrome as well.   Yes, that page loads very slow for me as well.  It doesn't make much difference when I am at work or at home.  Both load about the same rate even though I have drastically faster internet at home.  When I get ready to right a full schedule for all 70ish of my employees, I typically allow 2 to 3 hours of work time.
