Our younger staff members (most of my staff) are so beyond email its not even funny. The messaging section of Hot Schedules should be focused on sending SMS messages instead of sending emails. It would be great to use the 'message read' functions of SMS also so that managers could see that their messages were already read or not. It would stop a lot of 'white lies' by staff members that say 'I didn't see that'.
Ideally, I would like to see that when I set up a new staff member in hotschedules, that the default for messaging is SMS not email.
