Is there a report that lists the top most wasted products on Fourth?

We have an outlet for wastage. Any products that are wasted are transferred to this outlet.

We need a report that tells us the most wasted products. We also need to adjust the report, specifically:

  • Timeframe - Start & End Dates (i.e. last 6 months, 12 months etc)
  • The number of products (i.e. top 20, top 50, top 100 etc).
  • It would also be beneficial if we could filter the list by Segment/Category.

We've tried looking at wastage reports on Fourth Analytics, but they're quite limited and most of the reports don't break wastage down by product.

Hi Keegan,

I hope you are well.

This may require some customization on your Fourth Analytics wastage dashboard to include such a report as there is already the top 5 wastage product by value but that's only for the last 12 months.

There is the top 10 wastage by category which you can drill down into further to see the items but again doesn't seem to cover what you are looking for fully.

As such I would recommend that you speak to an Analytics Consultant to see if there is a custom report that can be built based on modifiable criteria, so I'd advise you reach out to your Customer Manager or Customer Care team and request to have a call setup with an Analytics Consultant to discuss this further.
