Special Characters in address/name

Hi, 

We are having issues with our FPS files failing due to special characters in the address/name of employees. Is there a way to stop being able to use special characters in these boxes please?

I hope you are well!

To make changes to the current functionality, the matter has been created into a user story, which involves a separate process managed by the Product Team.

As part of user story US185635, we are looking at adding validation on the mentioned fields to prevent characters outside the 'pattern' described by HMRC.

I can see the user story has recently been added to a wider feature F26258, which has been sized, and awaiting appropriate work by the Development team.
