Hi there,

Please can you confirm the below:

  • After someone is terminated in fourth they automatically receive a P45 after their last payroll?
  • How soon after would the receive their P45
  • After being terminated can the EE still access their Fourth App to retrieve their last P45
  • If App can’t be accessed, how do they get last P45

  • The P45 is sent automatically when the final payroll is processed.
  • The P45 would be generated and issued at the same time as the payslips
  • The standard length of time that an employee can still access the app is 90 days following the termination date, although this may be adjusted for the individual employer, access to the app from termination date is restricted to payslips and tax documents only to allow the employee time to download the relevant documentation.
  • If the employee doesn't download the P45 from the app before losing access, they would need to contact the employer who can download a copy from the employee record:

    Payroll > Employees > Employee List > [select employee] > Payroll > Employee Info > Employment Details > View P45 [bottom right of screen]
