Renaming locations

Hi Community, 

What are best practices for changing location names? Do we just rename the site in the HR module?   The restaurants themselves are being renamed and we need this reflected in the solution

Hope you are well, 

Yes, to rename a location you must change its name in the HR module via the pathway below:

HR > Company Admin > Locations > select location > Edit 'Description' to new name > Save.

Once followed the restaurant will be renamed across the solution.

We have done this but it has not updated on the Scheduling Module? How can we amend that please?

Hello Dan, 

Apologies, if you use the Scheduling module you may also have to separately change the locations name within the module itself.

This would be done via:

Scheduling Homepage > Settings > Locations > Search &  'edit' Location > amend 'Name' > Save.

How would it work with Engage? would the change of name feed through or needs to be done separately?
