TLS 1.0 and 1.1 Access to be Removed from the Fourth API Gateway
As part of the continued commitment to its technology stack's scalability and security, Fourth will be removing TLS 1.0 and 1.1 access from the Fourth API Gateway that underpins the following regional platforms:
- Asia Pacific (APAC)
- North America (NA)
- Europe and Middle East (EMEA)
This change follows on from the Fourth TLS depreciation that was communicated back in January 2024 via this Community post:
Maintenance Dates:
- APAC - Tuesday 10th September, 2024
- NA - Thursday 12th September, 2024
- EMEA - Tuesday 8th October 2024
Impact:
As of the dates specified above, Fourth APIs will only negotiate TLS 1.2 and above.
As a result, any calls to Fourth APIs attempting to negotiate TLS 1.1 and below will be rejected. The scope of this change will include access to the core solutions and mobile app via Fourth SSO.
