Moving the Flex contract employees to Casual contract, how would be holidays already accrued in the current tax year till to date will be ignored
So far I have already closed Wk2 payroll and today I will be closing Wk4 fortnightly payroll for Pizza Hut Nine Food Group,
But not sure how I have to manage the accrued holidays and the holidays I have already paid to the employees till to date, because once we change the flex contract employees to casual contract employees and their previous holidays for the current tax year is ignore / changed to zero holidays. Will I get help from Payroll Bureau / support team to solve this for Pizza Hut. Please advise on this.

Good afternoon, Payroll - Nine Group, I hope you are well.
As outlined in the below article we suggest changing employees to casual employment from the start of the new holiday year.
WFM UK: HR: How Does Changing Employment Status Impact Holidays – Fourth & HotSchedules Customer Success Portal
When transferring employees to casual after the start of the holiday year you will need to make note of the employee's accrued holidays and carry them over using employee batch update by following the guide in the below release note.WFM UK: UI Refresh HR: Carrying Over Holidays
I hope this helps.0 -

You can run the Holiday year-to-date report via the below path to view the employee's previous holiday data.
HR > Reports > Holidays > Holiday year-to-date report.
To view the employee's holiday details before they change to casual you will need to enter the day before.
Example - If an employee changed to Casual employment from 1/05/2024 you will need to run the report with 30/04/2024 entered.0
