  1. Category vs Location:
    • Clarify the guide sequence for Outlet Harry Cipriani NY—whether it should be based on category or location.
    • Needing assistance Ensuring proper setup aligns with reporting and tracking requirements.
    • When setting up the Waste Outlet, we were unclear on which option to select to account for waste and for all other unique locations.
  2. POS Revenue Center:
    • Understand the impact on data from POS when dealing with POS Revenue Center in Adaco.
    • Confirm if any specific listing or adjustment is needed for accurate data integration.
    • Unclear what Revenue center needs to be selected at each property during initial setup, asking for clarification.
  3. Department Number and Distributor Location:
    • Specify the parameters for assigning department numbers and distributor locations in the waste log.
    • Ensure seamless integration with inventory evaluation and reporting.
    • This was also unclear on “which” option was needing to be selected, or if it was required at all during initial setup.
  4. Costing for Wastage:
    • Clarify the timing and cost reflected when creating a waste log, considering daily receivables as a starting point.
    • Provide details on reconciling the waste log during month-end close and its incorporation into inventory evaluation.
    • If I send over a positive quantity to properly deplete wasted inventory from outlet, how does Adaco cost this into month end reporting?
  5. Outlet Named "Waste Log":
    • Explain the rationale behind having positive values for the waste log outlet.
    • Understand the logic when pulling quantities from outlets to wastage and its impact on current inventory.
  6. Positive/Negative Impact on Revenue Center:
    • Outline how positive or negative values in the waste log impact the revenue center.
    • Clarify the process of feeding updated quantities into POS and how it affects reconciliation.
    • If waste is accounted for in Adaco does the updated inventory amounts send back to POS?
  7. Accounting for Loss and Impact on P&L:
    • Define the accounting treatment for wastage, especially in terms of debiting against cost of goods on a waste line.
    • Explain how the loss represented in the wastage outlet affects P&L during month-end.
