Fourth/Adaco Transferring

    Good morning Ameer Munassar,

    Thank you for your query.

As you alluded to, the Transferring function, both within core-Adaco & the Mobile Transferring App, is designed for on-the-fly department-to-department transfers.

Requisitioning, both within core-Adaco & the Mobile Ordering App, is designed to move goods from the Storeroom because the Storeroom needs to review, process, & post the requisition.

As outlined in Adaco Mobile: Ordering App, if your requesting Outlets are configured to have the Storeroom as the 'Replenishment From' field then any Mobile Ordering App-generated requisitions will be created with the Storeroom as the Supplying Outlet.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions on this topic.

    Hello David,

Nice to hear from you, I know you've helped us out a lot during your visits. Per your suggestion during your time on site, we have been looking into putting iPads outside of our Purchasing Main Storeroom because a lot of our team members grab and go items and document on the clipboard. We really want to move away from the clipboard. What do you recommend, can requisitions be done quickly through the Fourth app or will they require the approval of the purchasing team. Any insight would help. Thanks!

    Hello Ameer,

Thank you for the kind feedback-- it was great to work with the team there!

By using the Ordering App, it will create & automatically release the Outlet Requisitions for the Purchasing Team to review/confirm & post. They will not need to 'approve' them at the time of the request but it will expedite the current process of them taking the clipboard then manually creating, releasing, & posting Outlet Requisitions in core-Adaco after-the-fact.

Along this topic, I also recommend that you upvote & comment on this Idea: Mobile Ordering App - Message Supplier/Add Comments that adding notes such as "Already Received" on the Ordering App will be helpful for the Purchasing Team to differentiate between new orders that need to be delivered vs. orders that were "Grab and Go".
