I'm considering changing one of my outlets to be designated as a retail outlet (it is a shop).
I'm trying to gain a deeper understanding of exactly what this will change, and what any affected screens will look like once this is activated.
I'm searched the community but can't seem to find anything - would someone be able to explain to me? Or point me in the direction of some articles?

Thank you for your query.
The 'Retail' flag on Outlet configuration is legacy functionality from a previous version of Adaco & will likely be deprecated in a future release, hence the lack of documentation; it is not required to manage proper retail/shop inventory & in fact will prevent the use of the Mobile Counting functionality via the Fourth App/Platform.
We do not recommend enabling it for both of those reasons but if there are any specific retail functionality questions that you have, please don't hesitate to ask.
