Do entered Expiry Dates follow a product when outlet requisitioned?

    Hi James Clark,

    Thanks for your question,

When an expiry date is entered at the point of receiving for an item and then that item is either Inter-Property Outlet Requisitioned or Inter-Property Transferred to another property, the expiry date does follow through,

There are 2 reports that show expiry information:

    • Stock by Expiry Date Report
    • Product Approaching Expiration Report

The Stock by Expiry Date Report when ran at the property receiving the item via a Purchase Order will show the Received Date, Expiry Date, On hand & Cost,

The Stock by Expiry Date Report when ran at the property receiving the item via an Inter-Property Outlet Requisition/Inter-Property Transfer will only show the Expiry Date, On hand & Cost - the reason you do not see a Received Date at this property is because this property did not receive the item via a Purchase Order,

The Product Approaching Expiration Report will only show the item at the Property which received the item via a Purchase Order,

    Hope this helps,

    Best
