    Hello Abigail,

Thank you for your enhancement request. You are correct in that employee's do not receive a notification when a shift has been released although employee's can always log into the site or check on the application. I will send this as an enhancement request to our Product team for consideration. I hope you're having an awesome day and thanks again!

    Sincerely,

    This feature would be amazing!

I myself have been asked by all my employees for this to be a reality so they can feel that the $3 app does more than just make it easier than using a web browser!

They currently have to log in periodically to see if someone has given up a shift. Would also love for a House Shift posted to also have a notification go out so if I have an event or need extra bodies, I can post those extra shifts up and have anyone pick them up.

PLEASE make this feature available!! A simple text/email alert when a shift is released and available for pickup would be great...beyond great..necessary. Please make this happen.

I would really appreciate it if this functionality could be added. Having to continually log in to see if there are any available shifts for pickup is very time consuming. During times when I'm really needing extra money being able to strike as soon as someone releases a shift for pickup is absolutely critical. I noticed that the earliest date on this functionality feature was from last year. Has there been any future information or discussion regarding this?

The automatic pickup feature, while handy sometimes, is not a one-size-fits-all solution for this problem. I don't want to automatically pickup an "on call" shift for example if I'm looking to actually work, not be on call to work. Also, if I'm able to work more than one position at my restaurant but schedule-wise I can only pick up a certain position, there is no way for me to discern that before picking it up automatically. Then if I realize it's not actually a shift I can work, I have to go cancel it. Then the employee who thought that his/her shift got covered is all pissed off at me for cancelling the pickup and it makes me look flaky to the management. No Bueno.

It's been over a year. Please create a solution to this shift release/shift pickup available notification. A simple text or email telling me that money is to be made would tremendously help me out. So, can y'all get on that/ I know y'all got some talented developers. This functionality is not hard to program.  Thanks a bunch!
