Overlapping Shifts

    Good Afternoon Inigo,


    Thank you for visiting HotSchedules Help Center! I have reviewed your request to be able to schedule overlapping shifts. Currently, this is not a feature supported by HotSchedules. The reason behind it is that the system will read off of the scheduled shift time and assume that the employee, since they are already scheduled, are technically unavailable to pick up a shift at the same time. It is kind of a "you can't be in two places at once" type of philosophy. However, we have received numerous requests for this type of functionality and we do appreciate your feedback so I am happy to pass this along to our Product team as an enhancement request to review and consider in a future upgrade.
