    Good Afternoon Bo,

     

    Thank you for visiting HotSchedules Help Center! I have reviewed your request in regards to a "2 week notice" feature on HotSchedules. Currently, the only option would be to switch their status to inactive and leave a note but this will not appear anywhere else within HotSchedules. However, I do think this is a great idea and we appreciate your feedback so I am happy to pass this along to our Product team as an enhancement request to review and consider in a future upgrade.

    That doesn't work though.

    First off, if you are integrated with Aloha, Aloha overrides that the next day until you change it in Aloha.

    Second, If you make them inactive before their last shift, doesn't it lock them out?  I know in Aloha I have to have them as an active employee in order for them to clock in.

    Lastly, a note that doesn't appear anywhere is like writing a post-it-note with invisible ink  :)

    Thank for submitting it.  Just as long as someone on that end is listening is all I care.

    You are correct, you would not be able to inactivate their accounts until they are officially no longer being scheduled. I definitely understand your need for this type of functionality and do appreciate your insight!
