    For many of the personal details fields, we're governed by what HMRC will accept within the FPS files that are sent after every payroll.  As such, HMRC do not accept Mx as a Title to be submitted, so we are unable to add it as an option within the employee record because the files will fail validation, and customers may be at risk of fines for non/delayed submission.

    As a Product Team, We are in regular contact with HMRC, and we are aware they are looking to review their process. Once I get confirmation of any changes, I will ensure WFM UK is updated as soon as reasonably possible.

    Thank you for this response. 

    We do have some payslips that have a title ie. Mrs and I am not sure how they have got there and it is not on all payslips so feel there must have been an option at some point to enter titles on the system.

    We do not currently enter titles when setting up new employees.

    How do we turn this off for all employees to allow consistency?

    Hi Rachel Napier

    Quite often, titles are included on the initial dataload that is used when a customer comes onboard, and are loaded into the database. Also, if an API is used to create employees, they may be sent via that too.

    We can help to remove the titles from the database so that no employee's have one assigned to their record. Please get in touch with the Customer Care Team who can help arrange this.
