If you have a corporate network and datacentre you will need to configure port forwarding across whatever route is needed to go from the public IP of your datacentre to the internal IP of the device -

Here’s a simplified example for you from our tech support team:

    • Datacentre is on public 62.51.51.234

    • Datacentre has VPN to client internal network always open across 192.168.1.254

    • Clock is on 192.168.2.100:3734

The following port forward must be configured:

    • 62.51.51.234:2734 >> 192.168.1.254:3734 >> 192.168.2.100:2734

Traffic must also be configured to RETURN back along the same route and exit the DC on the same IP Address otherwise the signal will get received but we won’t recognise the response.
