What's Changing?
Changes are being made to the mechanisms by which existing users reset their passwords.
Reason for the Change
To strengthen the authentication process and improve security.
Customers Affected
All customers using the Engage app, and then for the following customers accessing Engage via web browsers:
- All Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) customers logging in via secure.fourth.com
- All North America (NA) customers logging in via secure.na1.fourth.com
- All Asia-Pacific (APAC) customers logging in via secure.apac1.fourth.com
Release Note Info/Steps
Password Reset Flow for Existing Users
The current password reset flow is:
- The user selects Forgotten password? from the Engage login page
- The user enters their username and selects Reset password (if the username entered does not exist in the system, a message will appear to advise this)
- The user receives an email that contains a unique link/URL
- The user selects the link and is taken to the 'Create a new password' page
- The user enters and confirms a new password, and can then log in to the platform
The new password reset flow will be:
- The user selects Forgotten password? from the Engage login page
- The user is taken to the 'Forgot your Fourth password?' page
- The user enters their username and selects Send Verification Code
- The user receives an email containing a 6-digit code
- The user enters the code in the verification code field and selects Verify Code
- The user is taken to the 'Choose your new password' page
- The user enters and confirms a new password, and can then log in to the platform

The login page will be refreshed and have a new design.

To provide clarity and ease of use.
Customers Affected
All customers using the Engage app, and then for the following customers accessing Engage via web browsers:
- All Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) customers logging in via secure.fourth.com
- All North America (NA) customers logging in via secure.na1.fourth.com
- All Asia-Pacific (APAC) customers logging in via secure.apac1.fourth.com
Web users will need to ensure that the URL does not have /FmpLogin at the end of it.
If you have saved your Engage login page as a bookmark, please delete this and re-save the new login URL as a bookmark to ensure you access the new login experience.

Customers with a bespoke URL (e.g. [customer's name].secure.fourth.com) will still see the same background, logo and 'welcome' message that they are used to on the web browser. The only thing that will change will be the login area.
To log in using your bespoke login screen
1. Verify that the /FmpLogin in the URL is removed and ask the other users to do the same.
2. Update the Fourth bookmark to all users where possible
3. The new URL needs to be [Customer's name].secure.fourth.com

This is a good application
Is there any update on this? My login screen still shows ‘This login screen is changing soon’. It’s now 2024 and the new login screen was supposed
to be rolled out in 22/23 according to this article.

Thanks for the reply.
Wow, good luck with that. I hope the app gets an overall fix, for example the not permitted access to the camera will be removed? Every 5th time I open the app it opens my device’s camera which seems like a massive security breach. Just one of the many many faults and flaws this app has.
