The Change

Development has been carried out that will auto-approve wastage transfers sent via Fourth’s Sales API.

This action is controlled by a new global setting ‘Auto approve transfers’. Should the same transfer be resent and is different to the original transfer then the transfer will re-open and amend the quantity but re-approve itself.

Reason for the Change

The change was carried to out to increase user productivity by saving the time spent approving transfers sent via the API.
 

Customers Affected

The global setting is available for all Inventory customers; however it is targeted those who use the API sale to send transfers.

Global Setting

 

• Follow the path: Setup > All Options > Global Settings > Stock > Transaction Settings > Account Transfer Settings.
• Set to ‘Yes’ to enable this functionality.

• Fig 2 shows a wastage transfer that was received via the API and automatically approved.
• Note: The created by user is ‘Import Admin User’.
