The Change

Development has been carried out to allow users to view threaded documents from document reconciliation and open related documents to work with them if required.

Reason for the Change

The development was carried out to improve the user’s experience, allowing them to easily access related documents.
 

Customers Affected

All Inventory customers with the Stock and Documents module enabled.

  • Follow the path: Documents Tab > Document Reconciliation > search for Documents.
  • Use the Documents link as shown in Fig.1 to view the threaded documents.

  • Select any document in the list and it will be opened in a new tab

When selecting a document from the thread view, a pop-up for the selected document edit view will open in a new tab

Fig.3 shows the Chosen GRN from the pop-up. The documents can be edited here.

Please note: if a document (e.g. an Invoice) is opened and is threaded to a Credit, then the Credit will be deleted.
