    Release Notes: Recipe and Menus: Three Ingredient GET APIs to Include Alternate Ingredient Data in Response

    What’s Changing?
    When an Alternate Ingredient GUID is submitted to the endpoints, information will be returned for the alternate ingredient that matches the GUID.

    Release date: 6th February 2020.

    Reason for the Change
    General system enhancements.

    Customers Affected
    All Recipe and Menu Engineering customers using these particular endpoints and alternate ingredient functionality.

    Endpoints:
    api.starchef.net/v2/ingredients/{GUID}
    api.starchef.net/v2/ingredients/{GUID}/intolerances
    api.starchef.net/v2/ingredients/{GUID}/nutrition

    Currently the response from these endpoints includes parent ingredient data only.  

    After the change, these endpoints will also return data for alternate ingredients.

    Identical data structures will be returned in the payload for both parent and alternate ingredients.
