It may not technically be shark week anymore but I love a good shark fact so I won’t let that stop me! Did you know that the world’s biggest sharks - the Basking shark and the Whale shark, are also among the least dangerous? Just goes to show you can’t judge a shark by its blubber!
Labor Card Description - Text
There is a new message on the labor card details page that describes how labor volume will be calculated if an interval other than the forecast interval is chosen. The message reads as follows:
"If you select an interval greater than your forecast interval, the combined intervals will be summed for all the columns, except for the job columns, which will be averaged (including the "Total" column). This includes the daypart totals and the day totals."
Labor Card Description - Interval Label
To add insight into which Forecast interval has been run, there is a new label on the interval selector for the labor card.
Update Labor Volume Calculation
When viewing the labor card report and reducing the interval being viewed, instead of aggregating the labor volume by sum, it will be aggregated by average.
Daypart Average and Daily Average Rows Added to Labor Card Report
Columns that display the labor volume for a job will now display a daypart and daily average along with the already present daypart and daily total for each job.
The formula for daypart average - sum(all displayed volumes for the daypart) / (Number of forecast intervals in a daypart/number of forecast interval indexes in the selected display interval)
The formula for the daily average - sum(all displayed volumes for daypart) / (Number of forecast intervals in a daypart/number of forecast interval indexes in the selected display interval)
