Navigation: Requisition > Requisition Centre > New Requisition > Outlet Requisition or select an outlet requisition and click DetailsUse this screen to create a new outlet requisition or modify an existing one. An outlet requisition is a requisition that is used to move products or recipes from one outlet to another. In some properties, to calculate profitability, outlet requisitions are used to record raw materials that are delivered to a department and the prepared products that leave the department.

Field name | Description |
Requisition Number | Displays the number of the requisition. |
Supplying Property | This field is only available if the "Allow Inter Property Requisitions" check box is selected at Property > Administration > Property Preferences > Requisition. The field is used for inter property outlet requisitions and displays the name of the property which supplies the requested items. |
Ordering Outlet | Displays the name of the outlet which orders the items (products or recipes) |
Supplying outlet | The name of the outlet which supplies the requested items. If the "Allow Inter Property Requisitions" check box is selected at Property > Administration > Property Preferences > Requisition. The field is used to provide the name of the outlet in the property different from the current property which supplies the requested items. |
Need By | A date by which the requisitioned products or recipes should be delivered to the ordering outlet. |
Requisition Description | Free form description. This field is optional but we recommend that you assign a meaningful description to each outlet requisition so that other users would be able to easily identify it during the requisition lifecycle. |
Comments | Comments on the requisition. |
Total Cost | The total cost of the requisition. |
Sort Order | This allows defining the sort order for the items in the outlet requisition. Three options are available:

Created By | Displays the name of the user who created the outlet requisition. This field is populated automatically by the system after the requisition is saved. |
Posted | This check box indicates if the outlet requisition has already been posted. After an outlet requisition is saved, released and processed at Requisition > Process Outlet Requisition, and the outlet requisition form is opened for review, this check box will appear as selected. |
Posted By | Displays the name of the user who processed the outlet requisition at Requisition > Process Outlet Requisition. |
Posted On | Displays the date when the outlet requisition was processed as described above. |
Add Comment | A free form comment. This comment is not available in the printed form. |
Requisition Details Toolbar
Once an outlet requisition is created and saved, the following buttons appear on the toolbar.
Button | Description |
Approvals / Release | Approval option is available if the "Approval Needed for the Outlet Requisitions" option is selected at Administration > Requisition. If this option is not selected then the Release button appears on the toolbar and the requisition can be released without approval. |
Pick List | Click this button to print the Pick List for the selected requisitions. A pick list is a list of products that are on an outlet requisition. Normally, it is used when we physically deliver the requisitioned products. |
Items Toolbar
Button | Description |
Add Item | Click to add an item to the requisition. After you click this button, a new empty row will be added to the Items table. Type the product or recipe number in the Item field and press Enter. Alternatively, type a part of product description or recipe name in the Item Description field and then select the product or recipe. |
Item Search | Use the Search screen to find and add a product or recipe by its number, description, PLU code, etc. |
Item Fields

Item | Displays the number of the corresponding product or recipe. | |
Item Description | Displays the product description or recipe name. | |
Pack Unit | A unit in the pack. For example, "Gallon" in "Keg" or "Each" in "Case". | |
Requesting Unit | A user can define the requested unit in this field. For example, if we have "bag" as a pack unit and it weighs 10 kg, a user can define whether he requests bags or kilograms. Note: This parameter is available for selection only if the product's purchase unit is different from its inventory unit. |

Req. Qty | In this field, you should enter the requested quantity of items. | |
Price | Price per pack unit. | |
Available | These three fields show the information on the availability of the requisitioned item in the supplying outlet: On Hand — the actual stock of the requisitioned item in the supplying outlet. On Order — the quantity of items on the outlet requisitions which are created but not posted yet. Available — the quantity of items that is available for requisitioning. Available = On Hand - On Order. |

Product Runs | Displays the values assigned to the retail attributes for the corresponding product (if any). | |
Comments | In this field, you can enter a free form comment for the corresponding product or recipe. | |
Purchase Quantity Unit | Displays the purchase quantity unit for the corresponding product or recipe. | |
Purchase Info | This column displays the purchase information specified on the Product Details screen. | |
Inventory Info | This column displays the information from the Inventory Desc field specified on the Product Details screen. |
