Fourth has recently implemented new functionality that allows the distribution of P45 forms via email (EP45). See knowledge article WFM - Printing or Emailing P45s
These emails are sent from the address DoNotReply@fourth.com and certain email clients may block or filter them. This article will explain the steps to take in the two popular personal web-based email clients - Outlook (formerly Hotmail) and Gmail.
If Using Outlook

There are two options under 'Block content from unknown senders':

If Using Gmail

An option screen will open

If Using any Other Email Client
There are numerous other email clients available, of course. All will have their own processes for adding DoNotReply@fourth.com as a safe sender. "Whitelisting" is a commonly used term for this.
We recommend searching online for instructions for any other email clients.

If Using Outlook
- Log into the email account
- Use the cog icon in the top right corner and select Options
- Go to Junk email > Filters and reporting on the left side menu

There are two options under 'Block content from unknown senders':

Show attachments, pictures, and links for senders with good reputations
- Select this option to allow emails from Fourth.com and other senders who have a good reputation. Please note - this option will be selected by default, but there may be a risk of malicious/unwanted emails being received
- Block attachments, pictures and links for anyone not in my Safe senders list
- Select this option if wanting to add DoNotReply@fourth.com as a 'safe sender' and follow the steps below
- Go to Junk email > Safe senders on the left side menu
- Enter DoNotReply@fourth.com and use the + button to add as a safe sender

If Using Gmail
- Log in to Gmail and select the cog icon/drop-down in the top right corner
- Select Settings
- Go to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab
- Select Create a New Filter

- In the window that pops up, enter DoNotReply@fourth.com in the From field
- Select Create filter with this search

An option screen will open
- Tick the box next to Never send it to Spam
- Select Create filter
