This article details various troubleshooting tips and areas to check regarding issues with Holiday Settings within HR & Payroll (formerly known as People System).
Deleting Holidays
Question/Problem: Delete Button No Longer Available
The option to ‘Delete’ a Holiday is voided once that Holiday has occurred.
- To delete a Holiday that has already occurred, select into the Holiday and change the status to Removed
Question/Problem: Deleted and Removed Holidays in History
When a Holiday is deleted, all trace of the Holiday is removed and it will not display in the 'View Deleted Holidays' page.
To locate the ‘View Deleted Holidays’ page:
- Go to HR > Employees > Employee List > search and select Employee > Employee HR Info > Holidays > View Deleted Holidays
- When a Holiday is ‘Removed’, a record is kept of the Holiday request, and this history can be seen by selecting View Deleted Holidays.
Holiday in Hours
Question/Problem: How to Show an Employee’s Holidays in Hours
- Go to HR > Employees > Employee List > search and select Employee > Employee Info > Employment Details > amend Holidays Displayed In to Hours
- Save
Please Note: Any employee who is on a Flexible employment status can only have Holidays booked in days.
