Overview
The Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP) Report can be used to view how much SMP has been paid to employees over a given Pay Basis and Pay Run. It is also possible to view historical activity on employees' SMP records, which can be used for auditing purposes.
Running the SMP Report
The export displays how much SMP has been paid in the selected Pay Basis/Run and how much is still outstanding. Pension contributions are also displayed.

Audit History
Fourth's standard History pages are included in SMP records. The system records any changes made to fields displayed in any of the screens within a Statutory Maternity record.
To view a history of these changes:

The Maternity Leave History screen will then appear in a new pop-up window.
All information displayed here can be used for auditing purposes.

Running the SMP Report
- Go to Payroll > Reports > Exports
- Use the Export Name drop-down and select SMP Report
- Make selections for Company, Pay Basis and Pay Date and then select Run Report

- Search for and select an Employee
- Go to Employee Payroll Info > Statutory Maternity Pay

- Select the required SMP record

- Then, within the record, select History from the top-right corner
