Email payslips to be sent as password-protected PDFs.

Reason for the Change
To increase security of employees’ data and to comply with the new GDPR regulations that come into force from 25th May 2018.
Customers Affected
All payroll customers using the email payslip functionality.
Release Notes
Email Subject Line
Employee’s name is being removed from the subject line and will be replaced with the text:
“Important information: your payslip for [Date] is attached.
[Date] will be the pay date of the payroll that the payslip relates to.
Body of the Email
Please find attached your payslip for [Date]. Should you have any queries, please contact your employer.
Do not reply to this email address as this mailbox is not monitored.
PDF Password
For security reasons the password or how the password is arrived at is not included in the email. The makeup of the password will be the employee's Date of Birth (DOB) in the format DDMMYYYY. So for example an employee with a DOB of 01/10/1985 would have a password of 01101985 to access their payslip.
Please ensure that this is communicated internally as this information will not be given out via Fourth's support channels.
