ExplanationAbsence functionality has been improved to enable the customer to have more control over their data. The change is necessary to ensure all customers are compliant with legislation and that absence payments are accurate.
All customers will be moved over to version 2 by the end of 2017 and training will be provided as part of the project.
Waiting daysWhen entering an absence, the system will now calculate waiting days once the employees working pattern for that week has been indicated using the tick boxes.

Documents SeenAbsences can be entered by anyone, however the permission to submit the absence to payroll can be restricted. This enables a business to check the waiting days have been correctly selected and a valid Doctors Certificate is help, reducing the risk of under or over payments. Doctors Certificate should no longer be sent to the bureau. They should be sent to their own Head Office.
Return to Work CompletedThis tick box enables a business to record any return to work documentation or interviews as appropriate
