Step 1
Select the ‘Schedule’ within the Labour Productivity module and select the week you require. Click on the day that you want to schedule the employee for and a pop-up window will open for you to schedule the hours.
Use the time options to select the start and end times for the shift you need them to work.

Step 2
Once you have selected the times for the shift, you will now need to select the value of the shift. This will determine how much the employee will be paid for the shift. If for example you select ‘Double Shift Pay’, the employee will be paid double their shift rate for that shift.
In order to select the value for this shift, simply select the corresponding option from the drop down shown above the break options. This process would need to be repeated if the employee is working a split shift such as 1200-1500 and then 1700-2200.

Things to Remember
- This should not be used for hourly paid employees.
- If you change an employee’s shift from a double to a single shift, please ensure you change the option on both parts of the shift if the employee is still working a split shift.
