Employment Status
An employee’s Holiday is calculated based on their Employment Status. An Employment Status can be:
- Full Time - An employee who is salaried or hourly paid, and has a basic Holiday allowance driven from the job title settings. Hours worked on the Rota do not affect these employees' Holiday entitlement
- Flexible - An hourly paid employee who works regularly and whose hours can change from week to week. Hours scheduled on the Rota will impact Holiday entitlement
Difference Between FT Hourly and Flexible Hourly

Holiday day rate will be static regardless of how much the employee is paid. This will also apply to final Holiday pay. | Holiday day rate will flex depending on how much the employee was paid in the 12 weeks prior to the Holiday. Final Holiday pay will be based on the employee's earning at the time of termination. |
Holiday entitlement will be static regardless of employees working less than their contracted hours. | Entitlement will flex depending on the average days the employee works over 52 weeks. |
Employees will be paid for every hour they work. However, Holiday pay will not exceed the standard Holiday day rate for full time employment, despite any extra hours they’ve worked. | Employees will be paid for every hour they work. Holiday will be calculated on all hours. |
Holiday can be in hours. Half Day Holidays will need to be enabled to allow both Holiday and hours to be scheduled. | Holiday cannot be in hours. Flexible is in days only. |
Half Day Holidays for FT hourly calculates a half day rate. | Half Day Holiday can be used, however only half a day can be booked, not just 1 hour. |
The payment for Company Sick Pay (CSP) will be static based on the job titles as with overtime. | CSP will flex based on the average pay. |
