Changes to the calculation of Statutory Adoption Pay (SAP).

Reason for the Change

To correct the rate of the first 6 weeks of SAP that the system calculates and determine an employee’s entitlement to Statutory Adoption Leave from their first day of employment.
 

Customers Affected

All customers with the Payroll Module.
 

Release Notes

The following changes will only impact new SAP records that are generated after the release date. Existing records will not be impacted.

Payroll > Employee List {select employee} > Employee Payroll Info > Statutory Adoption Pay

After this release, when a new SAP record is generated the rate for the first 6 weeks of pay will be correctly calculated as 90% of average earnings (in line with SMP).

 
Employees who are not entitled to pay, for example because they have not worked for you continuously for 26 weeks, however they are entitled to Statutory Adoption Leave. The system will reflect this.
