The Company Details screen is being updated to allow the ability to record the “NIable” pay figure from a previous Payroll provider.
Proposed Release Date: 6th July 2017
Reason for the Change
The system needs to be able to calculate the correct Apprenticeship Levy for companies that are taken on mid-year but used a previous Payroll software provider.
All Payroll customers will see the new label but will only be relevant to mid-year PAYE companies within a portal.
The 'Company Setup' page will be updated to allow the user to record the NIable pay with a previous Payroll provider.
Payroll > Administration > Company Setup > select a Company

When there is a value entered it will be used as part of the National Insurance YTD figure when calculating the Apprenticeship Levy liability within the P32 screen.
