What’s Changing?
The Company Details screen is being updated to allow the ability to record the “NIable” pay figure from a previous Payroll provider.
Proposed Release Date: 6th July 2017
Reason for the Change
The system needs to be able to calculate the correct Apprenticeship Levy for companies that are taken on mid-year but used a previous Payroll software provider.
Customers Affected
All Payroll customers will see the new label but will only be relevant to mid-year PAYE companies within a portal.
Release Notes
The 'Company Setup' page will be updated to allow the user to record the NIable pay with a previous Payroll provider.

Payroll > Administration > Company Setup > select a Company

When there is a value entered it will be used as part of the National Insurance YTD figure when calculating the Apprenticeship Levy liability within the P32 screen.
If any technical issues are encountered with this process, please raise a Technical Case with our Support Team regarding the issue. To do so, either escalate to the member of your business who is responsible for raising cases with Fourth or raise a Technical Case in the Customer Community.
