An Irish teacher holds the world record for loudest thing shouted when she yelled "quiet" at 121 decibels, or the equivalent of a jet engine. With that being said, we have some big Clarifi Forecasting news I think you're going to want to hear.
As an administrator for your company, you can now configure which Insights will appear for each of your sites. From the CONFIGURATION page, select the HOMEPAGE menu item and select EDIT on the Insights Manager card.
Adjusting the Forecast Threshold
Speaking of Insights, the Above Store "Forecast Variance" Insight has always been set to display sites which performed outside of a 7% threshold from their Forecasted numbers. Now, by selecting the CONFIGURE INSIGHTS tab of the Insights Manager page, you're able to change the threshold to better align with your company's needs. Please note that only whole integers are accepted; no decimals.
New Daily Forecast Columns
Two new columns have been added to the Daily Forecast table for more insight into the trends at your store.
- The 6-Week Average column will look at the past 6 weeks for each day of the week, drop the high and low, and average the remaining 4 weeks.
- The Last Year column will simply display the previous year's numbers for the same day of each week.
New Forecasting Display
The Base Forecast (Forecast without any Events, Promotions, or Adjustments applied) and Adjusted Forecast will now always be on display with a legend at the top to help differentiate the two. Previously, in order to switch between each, you had to use a toggle. The horizontal black line on past days to represent Actual numbers is still present.
Forecasting by Day Parts
Clarifi Forecasting can now offer information based on the Day Parts you have configured for your sites instead of just an all day view. The default will still be to display All Day data, however you can easily switch to show a specific Day Part's worth of data by selecting it at the top, right-hand side of the page.
You can now easily make a quick adjustment to your Adjusted Forecast from the Forecasting Dashboard by hovering your mouse over the day you want to adjust in the Adjusted Forecast column and selecting the Edit icon.
