When I write release notes, I try to find some sort of event to reference in my intro; this month I fear I may not have anything clever to allude to.
In lieu of this, I have created my own holiday known as "Inventory Release Notes-Giving" which will be celebrated every release day moving forward. We'll serve a lot of recipes created using perfect measurements and at the end of the night, everybody counts ingredients. After everyone is happy, full, and sitting around a warm fire; we'll talk about the updates associated with the release like we are about to do right now. I hope you're cozy.
Some physical copies of an invoice provided by a vendor will only display the Extended Cost for items. Prior to this release when users would enter these Invoices into Inventory they would only have the option to input a Unit Cost. Moving forward users will now have the ability to enter the Extended Cost into Inventory; where a calculation will generate the Unit Cost for them.
To help users link recipes to menu items, there will now be a column and filter that display if a recipe has been linked.
Users will also have the ability to run an export containing all the recipes that have not been linked.
