Users that have access to core Inventory may also have the ability to use a number of advanced recipe functions that will give them a broader range of functionality and further insight into how their menu interacts with their restaurant. Each of the current features included with Advanced Recipes is outlined below.
Store-Level Retail Value & Profitability
While viewing the details of a recipe at a store level, you will see a retail field. The retail value of the recipe will be entered here and will only be retained by your location.
Once the retail value has been entered, you will see the profitability based on the total cost of the items being used in the recipe.
You will also have the ability to copy recipes from one location to another. To do so, go to the recipe management page and select the shishkebab menu to the right of recipe name.
A menu will open where you will input basic information regarding the recipe. Once you are finished, select OK.
From here, you are able to edit the recipe as you would like.
Recipe Ingredient Group Assignment
If you are an above store user you will have the ability to assign recipe ingredients to a store group. To begin assigning ingredients, go to the details page of the recipe while in an above store node.
Each ingredient can be assigned to a group using the GROUPS column. Once a group has been chosen, you will have to save. If you would like to have multiples of the same ingredient assigned to different groups in the Recipe you can.
