Clarifi Tiles are cards which appear on your Home page and display quick looks into various metrics and items that might affect your store(s). New tiles are always being added, but the currently-available tiles are as follows:
- My To-Do's
- Overdue Workflow Items
- Temperature Beacons
- Events Calendar
- Staff Schedule
The information provided within each card is based on which store(s) you're logged into. For example, if you are logged into two stores, and you have 3 overdue tasks in one and 2 in the other, the Overdue Workflow Items tiles will display 5. This article will cover each tiles.
To-Do's are items you can assign to yourself or others and they aren't tied to Tasks the way Follow-Ups are. The My To-Do's tile on the Home screen will display the To-Do's assigned to you based on their due date.
You can either complete a To-Do by checking the corresponding box in the condensed version of the tile, or you can do it from the expanded the view. When the tile is expanded, you can also view who created the To-Do, who it was assigned to, and when it's due. Notice the expanded view separates the To-Do's assigned to you from the To-Do's assigned to others. Additionally, you can click the carrot to the right of each To-Do to view and leave comments for a particular To-Do.
Additionally, you can click the carrot to the right of each To-Do to view and leave comments for a particular To-Do.
To create a new To-Do, simply click the + on the condensed version of the tile.
Follow-Ups are tied to Tasks and can either be personally assigned to users or they can be automatically triggered based on entries made.
The Follow-Ups tile will display any Follow-Ups you have created or have been assigned to you. The condensed version of the tile will display all assigned Follow-Ups along with the Follow-Ups you've completed on the current day.
By expanding the tile, you are able to view more information for each Follow-Up including who created it, who it's assigned to, and when it's due. From here, you are able to mark it as complete (A), or you can click the carrot on the right (B) to view more information about a specific Follow-Up.
By clicking the carrot, you are able to view the name of the Task the Follow-Up was created from (A), leave a comment for the Follow-Up or view any comments that have already been added (B), and the same information provided on the previous page. To return the previous page, click the back arrow in the upper, left-hand corner.
The Overdue Workflow Items tile allows you to view the overdue Workflow Items and Tasks for each store you're logged into for the past 24 hours.
By clicking the expansion in the lower, right-hand corner of the tile, you are able to view more details about which Workflow Items are overdue and which incomplete Tasks caused the Workflow Item to miss its due date.
Anytime a temperature is out of tolerance, you will have the option of creating a Follow-up. The process is the same as it is when creating Follow-Ups for Tasks.
The Events Calendar tile displays any events that are scheduled for the day which are created using the Calendar tool in the side navigation. If there aren't any events, you will still have the option to quickly access the Calendar to create one.
When events have been scheduled, they will display on the tile with a colored indicator for the type of event they are.
To view more information about the day's events, either click an event in the list or the expand button in the lower, right-hand corner of the tile. Once expanded, the description for each event will display if one was provided when the event was created along with the the label assigned to the event (e.g. Promotions & Events, Manager, etc.)
With the Weather tile, you can view a seven-day forecast for the current week including the current day.
The Staff Schedule tile allows you to view the current day's schedule for your store. The collapsed version of the tile displays how many people are scheduled, how many people are scheduled at the current time, and what the labor percentage is for the day. Labor percentage is calculated by (Projected Labor Cost) divided by (Projected Sales).
By expanding the tile, you are able to view the entire current-day schedule for the store. If viewing the tile on a tablet or a larger screen, you will see a real-time display of who is scheduled, what their scheduled shifts are, and a rolling line showing how far into a shift you are. The dropdown in the upper, left-hand corner allows you to jump to a specific schedule or job to view their respected employees. Additionally, a breakdown of the labor percentage will display to the right for the day and each schedule and job.
On mobile phone devices, the tile displays the same information with the exception of the rolling timeline.
When a daily Workflow Item is assigned to you, the Assignment tile will keep a tally for you so you know how many items need your attention.
When you have been assigned to a Workflow Item, a silhouette icon will appear at the bottom of the Workflow Item. When you have been assigned to a specific Task within the Workflow Item, the silhouette icon will appear to the right of the Workflow Item. As you complete Workflow Items where you have some sort of assignment, he Assignment tile will reflect how many you have left.
When all items have been addressed, the tile will reflect that as well.
The Surveys tile allows you to quickly complete any surveys that have been created and published for the sites you have access to. For information on how to create surveys, click HERE.
When a survey is available to complete, the name of that survey will appear at the top of the tile (A). While in a collapsed state, one question will appear at a time, and its number out of the total will appear below the title of the survey (B). As you answer each question, you will need to click SUBMIT to proceed to the following question. Otherwise, to view all the questions together, you will need to expand the the tile (C). Additionally, the survey's due date is displayed in the lower, left corner. The survey will no longer appear the day after its due date.
When expanded, the tile will display all the questions for that survey, and you will be able to click SUBMIT ALL to complete the survey.
Once you've submitted your answers, if there is another survey to take, it will appear and you will be able to answer the questions for it. When all surveys have been completed, the tile will inform you your answers have been submitted.
When you log into your account and there aren't any surveys to complete, the tile will still appear, however, you'll be informed there aren't any active surveys at that time.
Discounts are comped items or promotions. A comped item is something that was prepared but needs to be removed from the check. The Discounts tile, when not expanded, will display the number of discounts (A), the affected dollar amount (B) for the current day, current week, or current Day Part (C). Additionally, the tile will display what percentage the discounts make up from the gross sales (D).
By expanding the tile, in addition to the same numbers displayed on the collapsed version, a chart will display the time the discount was made, the name of the discount (typically something like "Buy One Get One") the check number the discount was applied, the amount of each individual discount, and the name of the employee who rang in the discount.
Voids are items that were rung in, but weren't prepared so there wasn't a loss of food costs, however, the item still needs to be removed from the check. With the Voids tile, you're able to see how many voids were entered for the current day, week, or Day Part, and how much money those voids accounted for.
By expanding the tile you're able to see the details of each void which include the time the void was entered, the name for the void, check number, amount, and the employee who rang in the void.
