The Comps and Voids Awareness - Employees Insight will display how many comps and voids each employee has for the current week.
By clicking Learn More, you're able to view the total comps in one chart and the total voids in another. Comps and voids are defined by:
- Comps - A removed item from the check after it was made (guest didn't like it, server rang it in wrong, coupon redemption, promotion, etc.)
- Void - A removed item from the check before it was made (mistake in ringing in an item, but server catches it before dish is cooked)
Each chart will display up to ten employees and the number of comps or voids they have for the current week (A) and the total number of comps/voids the store has for the current week along with the variance between the previous week (B). Additionally, each chart will display the total cost for the store along with the variance between the previous week (C).
Depending on the information that is pulled over from the POS, the Comps chart has the ability to display reasons and the number for each when looking at individual employees (D).
A few things to keep in mind:
- Each chart will only display a maximum of 10 employees
- The totals represent the total numbers for the store and not the totals for the displayedemployees.
