As a corporate user, you will work with templates which you will then assign to various stores. Each template will allow you to configure Currencies, Paid In/Out accounts, Cash Drawers, Store Funds, Safe Counts, Reconciliations, and Deposits. Each new template you create will be based off the “Master template” which means if you have 2 Cash Drawers configured in your Master template, all new templates created will have those same Cash Drawers configured as well. Once configured, simply assign one or more stores and each will be have a clear idea of what to fill out and when to do so each day.
The Cash Management Templates page will display all of your templates and how many items have been configured for each.
To create a new template, click Add Template in the upper, right-hand corner of the page.
You are required to name all of your templates, so choose something that would apply to the stores you plan on assigning.
Once you click Save, you will be directed to a page of collapsed cards for each item that may, or may not, need to be configured.
It's important to note that templates are saved in real time, so at this point in the process, if you navigate back to the main page of templates, you will see your newly-created template listed with the others.
Each card can be expanded by clicking on it, or you can click the Expand All (A) button to do just that. The Master Template (B) switch allows you to mark your new template as the new master for all of your templates so any template created at a later date will be pre-populated with with the configured items of it. The link icons (C) indicate the item has been configured based off the Master template.
Remember that each category of a new template will be a pre-populated copy of the the Master template, so in order to re-configure a category, you will need to click Change.
When you click Change, you will be informed again that the category was copied from the Master template settings. You can either keep these settings by clicking Cancel, or you select Customize Settings to re-configure the category. When you select to customize, you will be prompted to select a template to copy the settings from for that particular category, or you can select “Blank template” so you can start from scratch. Even after copying settings from another template, however, you will still be able to add or remove as you need.
When a category is no longer based on the Master template, a green checkbox will appear for the card.
